My Hand Block Printing Adventures - 101

I have been printing a lot lately. For me making crafts, block printing and creating something beautiful is more than just a hobby. For me it is mediation and I feel so relaxed and energetic after making something related fabrics and printing. I have been printing for couple of days now. I have made many beautiful fabrics and garments for kids in the extended family. Here are few of my new creations:
The first pattern that I made was a tree in Spring Green color
And actually instead of printing it over a piece of fabric, I printed it on a cloth bag made of Muslin fabric

This is how I started - a couple of wooden stamps, dye color and lots of hope to create something new

This is another Green pattern that I have made

I have posted more such images on my Facebook and these available for purchase on my website: www.desicraftshop.com

You can buy these favor bags in larger quantity just by placing a custom order request to me. I am available to take orders through Facebook and website contact page :)

Blue paisley block print fabric - handmade in DesiCrafts workshop

Handmade muslin fabric in blue and white

So we were trying out a few new block print screens which we recently procured from a local shop in South India. After trying many patterns on khadi fabric, we finally decided to put this one in the shop.

These fabrics have been printed in DesiCrafts workshop. We have used finest quality muslin fabric which is a variety of pure cotton Indian fabric. Another fabric that we have used is pure cotton Khadi fabric AKA Ahimsa fabric. Both fabrics have been treated well after printing and it is suitable for baby nursery, curtains, dresses and craft projects. The fabric will be available for order at our Etsy shop soon.
